Customer Education Tutorials
Surveys indicate that lectures on occupational injury are of great interest to sonographers. Departments that have recently purchased your equipment cannot benefit from your ergonomic designs unless they receive instruction in what the risk factors are and how to avoid them. The best equipment in the world is of no use if the end-user does not know how to optimize its features. Sound Ergonomics, LLC is being asked to participate in the application of the equipment at the point of sale and to provide education to the end-user on the ergonomic features that have been designed into new systems.
Sound Ergonomic consultants are available for lectures and/or to provide hands-on training on your equipment. Half-day or full-day tutorials are available, as well as 30-minute and 50-minute lectures. Hands-on training is only suitable for small groups because of the individual nature of the training. Larger groups may be accommodated with the addition of extra staff and the use of break-out sessions.
The following sample topics are examples of lectures that can be given either as individual lectures or as tutorials:
- Musculoskeletal Disorder in Sonography - An Overview of the Importance of Ergonomics in Diagnostic Ultrasound
